These past few months I have made a lot of changes in my life and unhealthy habits. I have been eating healthier and working out a lot more and I have been having a lot of fun doing it. Growing up, I never played sports or on a team and missed out on a lot of physical activity. Now that I am dedicating that time to workout pretty hard, It’s starting to catch up to me. I had been feeling like I was lacking some nutrients and it was holding me back from how hard I really want to push myself in a workout. I have been looking for ways to boost my energy and stamina during a workout and eating healthy wasn’t enough.
I recently came in contact with Whole Life Balance and felt life this was the perfect time for me to check it out. They offer IV Drip Therapy, which sends vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the bloodstream and surpasses the digestive system. Drips contain magnesium, calcium, various B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, and B12) and vitamin C. IV vitamin therapy can be used to treat and aid endless conditions and Whole Life offers a variety of Drips depending on what your body needs.
When I arrived, Sandra and Chris (the owners) were so kind and welcoming. Throughout the entire process, they were always around to answer any questions or concerns very honestly and confidently. The ambiance is relaxed and calming but still really professional. I absolutely loved it and already noticed a difference in my overall health.
I really do recommend this process for anyone struggling with their health. Whether it’s IBS, stress, chronic fatigue, hangovers, viral infection or even cancer.
If you are interested IV Drip Therapy definitely email or call Sandra and Chris and book an appointment. It is such an effective way to boost your immune system and just feel your best. Stress can be a huge problem for many of us and sometimes it can seem impossible to manage. It can be difficult to avoid the feeling of being stressed and at times, can be even harder to de-stress yourself. I find that really focusing on that one thing at a time is the best way to eliminate stress. Another thing that I find really helpful, is to develop a healthy habit. (Thank me later for this one). You will learn so many great things about yourself that you didn’t know you were capable of. Whether it’s cooking or baking, taking a fun class, doing something crafty or eating healthier. I recently picked up some knitting needles and started to make a blanket for myself to snuggle up in. Hard to believe I’m 20 when I have the same hobbies as a 70-year-old woman.
Aside from the tips I listed above, I also like to visit a few of these places down below.
CIVELLO SALON AND SPA – QUEEN STREET
This morning a visited Civello for a massage. I felt tense before I arrived and was in desperate need for some “me” time. I always request Arlene when getting spa services done at Civello on Queen because of my previous positive experience. She is very sweet and does an amazing job. I highly recommend booking your appointment with her. After my massage was done, I felt amazing and refreshed. The experience at Civello is one of a kind and really helped me de-stress.
For the first time today, I tried a breakfast bowl from Village Juicery. I have heard a lot of great stuff about their juices and they are pretty popular on social media. They run a small pop-up in Lulu Lemon on Queen West. I love the minimalist look that the company uses on their packaging. I got the Probiotic bowl with Coconut Yogurt, Chia Seeds, Hand Made Sunflower Seed Milk, Seasonal Fruit, Pumpkin Seeds, Hemp Hearts, and Vanilla. This made me feel awesome because I began my day with a healthy meal.
CLANCYS BOXING ACADEMY
Honestly, I haven’t done this in a while but when I was regularly going to classes; I felt amazing. Boxing @ Clancys is such a fun and easy way to make your stress disappear. Hitting the punching bag can be a relief for your stress or anger. The instructor Kristina, was always motivating and fun. I recommend taking one of her classes, she is very helpful and informative.
Recently, I began a project with Daily Press Juicery on Queen W. They set me up with a mild cleanse package that they offer in their store. I always wanted to do something like this only because I thought it looked kinda cool and the way that i felt, I might do it more often! I feel super energized and don’t feel glued to my bed in the morning. I haven’t really been craving foods that much and honestly when I am hungry I am going to eat. I will never let myself starve, so before reaching that point I would drink some more of the juice. After that, if I was still hungry I would just eat something super light and try to stay away from carbs. This is very hard for me to not eat a lot of solid food, considering that I work in a bakery.
I think that everybody should check out Daily Press Juicery in Toronto, because only after the first few bottles I felt amazing. I picked up the reboot kit because it’s a milder cleanse for beginners, Although; most of the drinks are the same in the expert cleanse. My fav drink so far is the Mylk, which is dairy free and super yummy!
Thank you again Daily Press Juicery! 💗✌🏻️
Recently I had been sent a package from Skinny Mint to try out their 28 day teatox. This was something I had been wanting to try out for the longest time, but I was a bit sceptical on these types of teas. Before starting this 28 day tea cleanse (in the process of completing ATM) I did a lot of research about what these types of products really do for your body. Most of the information I had come across was WARNING material. A product that contains a form of laxative is not “healthy” to your body for everyday use. Although the evening cleanse is for every other night, this may or may not be beneficial to your overall health. But one major tip I had read, was to drink a lot of water during the evening cleanses. This is because you are reducing excess “waste”….
The morning that I began my journey with Skinny Mint; I woke up feeling amazing and ready to begin this process to a more fit me lol. I let the tea steep for a few minutes and then sipped on my morning boost. After I finished my tea and breakfast, the gym was next on my agenda. I must say, I am quite the procrastinator when it comes to working out. For some reason, whether it was the tea or my positive energy that morning… I had an amazing workout! I had tons of energy and didn’t feel as tired like usual.
I am continuing to take the morning boost tea just to give my self that extra bit of energy, plus it tastes pretty good. But as for the evening tea, it personally does not really fit my lifestyle. I don’t feel the need to take a product that is going to cause cramping or give me the sudden urge to run to a bathroom. I’m sure if I took the evening cleanse as directed, I would see more obvious results.
I will continue to drink the morning boost tea, and I do recommend this product for someone who needs a little more energy in the morning or during the day! As for the night cleanse, it is probably amazing for someone who has a less busy schedule and can spend a few hours in the bathroom. 🙊
Thanks again Skinny Mint for sending me this teatox 💕
