Sunday Drives with Ford Canada

Who doesn’t love a good summer adventure? I headed off to Prince Edward County with Ford Canada and friends. The perfect city escape, PEC is only about a 2 hour drive outside of Toronto. We drove the 2019 Ford Explorer and embarked on a weekend full of fun!
There is something so special about Prince Edward County and so much to discover in the surrounding areas. What I loved the most about the Ford Explorer is how big it was and how safe I felt driving it. The Explorer is the perfect vehicle for any Canadian road trip or Sunday Drive. Having 6 seats plus tons of extra room for bags, snacks and whatever else you may need to have the ultimate on road experience.
Having SYNC3 with Apple Car Play and Android Auto was so convenient in the Ford Explorer! With a full car of friends, we kept the tunes cranking all drive long. SYNC3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto offers a simple music search which made for a safer and stress free drive. To add, the B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen offered us a superior and immersive listening experience throughout the entire drive.
Having a car full of friends is great, but not so great when everyone needs to charge their phones. Thanks to the Ford Explorer we had a No-hassle charging experience. With fast-charging USB ports and 12-volt outlets, all of our devices were fully charged by the time we arrived in PEC. No sharing the charging cord necessary! I have only ever seen this incredible addition in a Ford.
We spent the weekend eating, exploring and enjoying. Heading to local restaurants and cafes for bites and coffee was a daily ritual. There are also tons on winery’s nearby and can be easily and safely accessed by bike too! Another pit stop to take while in PEC, is perfect for any Sunday Drive. We stopped at the Mustang Drive-in and could not have had a better seat; The Ford Explorer. The interior was truly like no other, this modern vehicle was made for a PEC drive in experience. Prince Edward County should be on everyone’s summer bucket-list, and if you can; visit in a Ford!
